I pass through this situation many times with many processes and the finally recommendation of Sybase or SAP today its not having any object in witch both instances make dml operations because of internal sync of locks and pages. The processes sleeps in events mostly related with CLM or OCM.
SAP releases SP 130 with many changes, one its single instance database in order to config an ownership to a database on an instance. Have you taken a look at it? Perhaps it may help you.

Again, what I am really confused about (and also concerned) is that you are taking charge/control of her career. Again, it is great that you are being a good brother and supporting her but she's going to have a hard time.
I'll be honest (no idea if you work in SAP area and/or have read other posts in this forum): SAP is cut-throat area to get a step through the door. You (in this case, your sister) have got to want this really badly and be prepared to work hard no matter which module or technical area you enter.
My concern for your sister is that her not being here sends a message that she is not here asking the question herself she may not be in a position to succeed on getting a job post education (or even certification). She cannot have her brother apply for jobs and turn up to job interview for her. As far as creating her own user id, if she is going to enter the world of SAP then eventually she'll be in SCN asking technical questions and might actually want to build her own reputation.
Why should "that should be done by me only" when this is her career?
You have caused no inconvenience in being here and again, wonderful you are looking after a family member. But I do think you could be more helpful in guiding her through this process and explaining SCN/showing her/helping her but make her take the first steps. She will have more chance of success through guidance.
As far as job opportunity goes - again search SCN and you will see it - but getting your foot is the door is one the hardest. If she has a job offer and is being paid to learn EP then go for it. It still has use but she might want to diversify skills (never stop learning to remain current in the market).

can you explain the scenario? You mean you apply the leave togather ie consecutive days? and you want to validate this? I am going through some problems, I need to access a large number of texts relating to the Purchase Order.
With the help of this topic(Retrieve texts from a sales order by using RFC_READ_TEXT), could use function RFC_READ_TEXT to access one of the purchase orders I needed.
But I need to access more than 22,000 requests per month. And according to the thread I mentioned I can only return one text at a time.
How could I do to extract a set of Purchase Order text with one request using RFC_READ_TEXT?

I don't think you can. ADS does not use schemas or catalogs.
I searched all the places where NUMBER_GET_NEXT is used with range object KONV and everywhere the range number is hardcoded to V='01' or M='02'.
So it seems it is not configurable.
I do not know if it is considered a "good practice", but can the range 01 in range object KONV be changed from 1/999999999 to 2000000000/2999999999?
If not, I would look into archiving data to free numbers in the beginning of the range.

Im not sure if I understand your question or what is "BPC axis" but if you want to map an InfoObject you can do that with Transformation files, meaning two dimensions make up one in BPC or if you want to map one key figure to a specific account since BPC can only hold one fact/measure/key figure you achieve that with *MVAL also with transformation files

BPC at least the NW without HANA is not meant to be a real-time application so your actual data will not be directly linked to your source ERP system, a scheduled data load needs to be performed. You could use a BADI that does this but this will ocurr after a data load in BPC, not real time. I am not familiar with APAB but you could ask your basis/ABAP collaborators
My understanding is the time taken to render the data in the chart after it is fetched using the WebI SQL should almost be the same for any form of chart. There will be some difference in microseconds but won't be visible to the user.

We are planning to update the job chain info on user save the job definition using CPS Triggers with trigger point option "Before job Definition change".
in Trigger - "Before job Definition change" we have access to jcsTriggercontext and we need update job chain step information
Since jcsSession is not accessible in trigger point - "Before job Definition change" Can any one of you please let me know how to get job chain information with jcsTriggercontext or any other way.

The organization that I work for is planning to provide Self Service for SAP HANA.
The business users involved here are pretty savvy (say just like IT folks), and would like to do
1. Free hand sql on hana ...for various requirements.
2. Data Modelling.
Usually when one talks of self service we are talking of Self Service using BI reports, dashboards,etc.
Here though it seems to be a different scenario where the self service involves more than just the reporting layer.
Any thoughts on this please ?
Anyone who has done this before and any governance on the same ?

What kind of view do you want to insert data into exactly?
If you refer to information models (e.g. analytic or calculation views) you're in bad luck as these are read-only objects.
For general DB processing via SQL you should be able to use any ADODB programming primer that your favorite search engine digs up for you.
So, maybe try some basics first and come back with a more detailed and specific question later on?
